Earn Cash Writing Articles - Easy as 1-2-3

Article writing is as easy as 1-2-3!
1) The opening paragraph gives your qualifications or grabs the reader and almost compels him or her to read further.
2) Your article will contain just two or three facts.
-Fact 1) Perfect grammar is not a necessity.
-Fact 2) The number of words in the typical article.
-Fact 3) Separate each paragraph.
3) The closing paragraph summarizes the article and provides a link to your site.

Many people are reluctant to write articles because they think its too difficult. Thats nonsense. Article writing is actually quite easy once you know the three-step formula (above). Others are reluctant to write because they do poorly with grammar or spelling. Do you need to use perfect grammar in your articles? Certainly not, but some sites will refuse to print your work if it is riddled with errors. Fortunately, there is a way around this for those that are grammatically challenged. Most of the word processors available today come with a spelling AND grammar checker. You should make full use of both of these features.

The ideal article contains just 500-600 words. Many submission sites will not accept articles with less than 500 words and will refuse those with more than 1000 words. In addition, it is sometimes difficult to keep a readers interest if it is over 700 or 800 words. (They didnt come to the site to read a novel.) For that reason, I try to make sure that all of my articles have around 500 words.

Break your article up into a number of different paragraphs and separate each one by a space. This makes your article more pleasing to the eye. This is important because your readers will make his or her first judgment about your article based on the way it looks. And like anything else, you want your reader to have a good first impression.

Your first paragraph or two should tell the reader about your qualifications or entice him or her to read further. This is called the hook. In this piece, we are using a hook instead of the qualifications. Our hook lets the reader know that there is a formula to writing articles and we will divulge this information in the article.

The next paragraph or two should discuss the facts, information, or points you wish to make. Each of these paragraphs should discuss the benefits as well as features. The benefits will grab the reader and let him know why it is important to him.

Close the article with an offer for more information by clicking your link. I prefer to use a free information offer as many more people will click through for a free report. If instead, you ask readers to: Visit our site for more information, only about one third as many readers will click through. For that reason, I prefer the following: For more information on the subject, download our FREE REPORT at YOUR-SITE-NAME.

Email Travel Secrets

Why email certain things to yourself when you travel? More on that in a moment.

You may already use email when you travel. With an email account, wherever you are in the world, your friends and family have a way to contact you and you have a way to contact them. Interestingly, even though the internet largely operates by way of the same phone lines, it's more reliable than the phone service in many countries. In other words, even if the phone connection is bad, you may be able to send an email.

If it's a matter of expense that is stopping you, check around. Hotmail, Yahoo and others still offer free e-mail accounts. Why not sign up now, if you haven't already.

How will you access your email? Virtually every public library in the United States now has internet access, and it is almost always free to use. When traveling the country, we often stop in small towns at libraries. We not only check our e-mail, but our bank accounts as well.

When you are in other countries, finding internet access is even easier. Anywhere that computers are too expensive for most people to buy, there's demand for cheap public internet access. The result is that, in many cities of the world, there are internet cafes on almost every corner. How much will it cost? A dollar per hour is not uncommon.

What To Email To Yourself When You Travel

Savvy travelers have been using this trick for a decade now.

Before you travel, email yourself a list of important information and numbers. This should include the number to call if your credit card is stolen, and the number of the U.S. Embassy where you'll be. Just stop and think about what information you would need or want if you lost your luggage and wallet and everything else. This will give you an idea of what to send to yourself.

Email yourself a copy of your passport, for example, and other important documents. You might even want to email yourself a photocopy of your drivers license. I send myself work that I can do, in case I have nothing better to do than sit in front of a computer for hours (Fortunately this hasn't happened yet). Whenever you need these things, they'll be available in any internet cafe in the world.

Is Coffee Good for You or what?

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in America while at the same time being a favorite around the world as well. Whether buying it while on a rushed break at work in the local Starbucks, enjoying Vienna style at a cafe in Austria or injesting a particularly strong brew served very hot along with Qat leaves as they do at cafe's in Yemen on the Arabian peninsula, coffee is simply a widespread drink. But many people are asking the question, especially in the West: Is Coffee healthy? And if so: do it's benefits outweigh it's potential health hazards. This is an important question here in America, where in the land of a million Starbucks (Well almost, anyway), we drink tons of the stuff. Actually this question is probably even more important in the small nation of Finland, which leads the entire world in per-capita coffee consumption, probably because it is so darn cold up there.

There appears to be both benefits and potential hazards associated with the hot drink. An example of a benefit, according to Nick Bakalar of the NY Times, is that in a review of studies published last year in The Journal of the AMA, it was determined that habitual coffee consumption was actually related to a lower risk of Type two diabetes.

Possible the reasons for this are that Coffee is relatively rich in the specific antioxidants which appear to moderate the cell damage which can contribute to the spread of this disease. In addition, it is a source of chlorogenic acid, which has been shown in some experiments to lower the body's glucose.

Caffeine, perhaps coffees most famous component, appears to have little to do with it; the studies found that decaffeinated coffee alone found the same results.

Larger quantities of coffee seem to be very helpful in diabetes prevention. In a report that combined statistical data from many studies, researchers found that people who drank four to six cups of the hot beverage every day had an almost 30% reduced risk as compared with those who drank 2 or less. Those who drank more than six had a whopping 35 percent risk reduction.

Some research studies have shown that cardiovascular risk also appears to lesson along with coffee injestion. Using data on more than twenty-seven thousand females between 55 to 69 in the Iowa Womens Health Study who were followed for fifteen years, Norwegian researchers found that the ones who injested 1 to 3 cups every day lowered their risk of cardiovascular disease by nearly a quarter as compared with those drinking none.

But as the quantity increased, the benefit decreased. At more than six cups a day, the risk was not significantly reduced. Still, after controlling for age, smoking and alcohol consumption, women who drank one to five cups a day caffeinated or decaffeinated reduced their risk of death from all causes during the study by 15 to 19 percent compared with those who drank none.

The findings, which originally appeared in the May issue of the AJCN, point to the free radical fighting antioxidants which are present in coffee that might help to reduce inflammation and the various health problems associated with it, such as disease. Some other substances found in coffee may contribute to the overall effectiveness of the antioxidants, such as phenols, which are aroma compounds that are rather easily absorbed.
